A Hawaiian Night starring the ‘Boys on The Beach’ was held at Eastleigh Football Club on March 26th. The evening was attended by over 100 people and raised £2060 by way of donations, a prize raffle, and entrance money. Many great prizes were kindly donated including a digital camera, a Sony Playstation, and a signed Saints shirt.
Southampton Institute won the Varsity Cup Final with a closely contested game against Southampton University at the home of Eastleigh Football Club the Sparshatts Stadium. A great left footed free kick meant the Institute won 1-0. A good crowd watched the game played on Lisa’s birthday on March 15th. Over £1500 was raised for Lisa’s charity with final figures yet to be confirmed.
An England shirt signed by former Saint James Beattie was auctioned on behalf of the Lisa Wilson Scholarship Fund at the DeVere Grand Harbour Hotel.
A generous donation of £600 was made by Alan Prebble of Silverlake Garages for this rare prize.
