Donations to be auctioned for Lisa’s charity

Various items have been donated to be auctioned for Lisa’s Charity for an event to be arranged for 2004. Some of the most famous names from sport and pop music have donated memorabilia that should help the fund. Pop super star Craig David a huge Saints fan has signed a Saints No 7 shirt that has also been signed by Le God himself Matt LeTissier. 1966 World Cup hero Gordon Banks has donated a limited edition England print signed by all the surviving members from that World Cup winning team. Toyota F1 Racing have supplied a framed picture signed by drivers Christian De Matta and Olivier Panis and former England Captain and Manager Kevin Keegan has signed a shirt form when he played for Saints. Several other donations have also been received and any other memorabilia would be much appreciated.

Matty’s last game raises over £1000

Matt Le Tissier donned his boots for the last time to play for Eastleigh against Winchester City in the Hampshire Chronicle Cup. Over 1000 turned up on a hot Sunday afternoon to see the great man play, although he didn’t score he rattled the post from a free kick with the keeper stranded and came close on another occasion. Twenty five percent of the gate money was donated to Lisa’s charity and along with a raffle and charity auction the fund benefited by to the tune of £1320. Before the game Matt was presented with a plaque by Lisa’s mum and dad for his outstanding services to football.

Lisa’s spirit lives on in Cardiff at the F.A. Cup final

Lisa as everyone knows was a great Saints fan and season ticket holder. Lisa’s mum Tricia wore a Saints shirt with Lisa’s name on the back at the cup final Saints v Arsenal. Lisa would have loved it, it was an emotional day and she would have been so proud of the valiant effort Saints made.
