Abba Evening raises over £3000

This very special occasion to celebrate what would have been Lisa’s 24th birthday turned out to be a huge success. Over 150 people turned out mainly in fancy dress to party in the way Lisa loved to. The group ‘Abba Revival’ twice played ‘Dancing Queen’ and packed the floor with people dancing and crying at the same time. The raffle raised nearly five hundred pounds and with donations from people who couldn’t attend and ticket sales just over £3000 was raised for the Lisa Wilson Scholarship Fund.

For the evening, Lisa’s brother Ross created a photographic journal of Lisa’s Dream. The dvd is now available here

Tricia and I would like to thank everyone for their support.

‘Lisa The Daddy’ rules the waves

At last year’s boat show we ordered a new boat that was launched on what would have been Lisa’s 24th birthday on 15th March 2003. The new boat, a 28foot long Cranchi, was named after Lisa. ‘Lisa The Daddy’ is berthed at Hythe and every minute spent on her helps keep us closer to Lisa.
